Setup and use the Multi-Location Stock Inventory app

This guide is for BigCommerce merchants who want to show product stock availability across multiple locations on their storefront product pages.

Install the app

  1. Log in to your BigCommerce store as a store owner or user with app permissions.
  2. Install the Multiloca app from the BigCommerce app listing.
  3. Approve the requested permissions during installation.
  4. Open the app from BigCommerce Admin after installation completes.

The app opens inside BigCommerce Admin and shows the Home, Inventory Block, and Display Settings pages.

Choose a storefront layout

Open Inventory Block to choose how stock availability should appear on product pages. Select one layout, review the preview, then click Save settings.

Configure display settings

Open Display Settings to control what shoppers see in the storefront inventory block. Turn on Enable Block, adjust the options you need, then click Save settings.

  • Enable or disable the storefront inventory block
  • Set the block heading and footer note
  • Customize in-stock and out-of-stock labels
  • Show address, phone number, distance, and direction links
  • Show location notes and pickup availability
  • Create quantity-based stock level messages
  • Hide, rename, reorder, or limit displayed locations

Some settings open a small configuration window. Save those settings before closing the window, then use the main Save settings button when you finish the full page setup.

Verify the widget on your storefront

  1. In BigCommerce Admin, go to Storefront and open Script Manager.
  2. Confirm there is a script named Multiloca Storefront Widget.
  3. Open a storefront product page.
  4. Confirm the inventory block appears near the product details.
  5. Check that layout, labels, notes, and location visibility match your saved settings.

Troubleshooting

If the inventory block does not appear on the storefront, check these items first.

  • Confirm the app is installed and opened from the correct BigCommerce store.
  • Open Display Settings, turn on Enable Block, and click Save settings.
  • Check Storefront > Script Manager for Multiloca Storefront Widget.
  • Open a product page that has inventory assigned to one or more locations.
  • Refresh the storefront page after saving changes in the app.
